During 2009/10, a thorough review of the Charity’s grant-making was carried out. As a result, two new funding programmes for organisations were set up – the Small Education Grants programme and the Strategic Grants programme.

Small Education Grants – local voluntary and community organisations can apply for educational grants of up to £1,000 throughout the year.  Click here for more information, including details of how to apply.

The Strategic Grants programme provides grants for up to three years for local organisations working with:

• Young carers
• Secondary school age refugees and asylum seekers, who are unaccompanied minors and/or have little or no previous experience of formal education
